Travel EP Tech

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and other specialized procedures in the EP lab.
• Prepare patients, operate and troubleshoot lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and support cardiac mapping and interventions.
• Perform nursing assessments, educate patients and families, administer medications including sedation, and provide post-procedure care.
• Maintain sterile techniques, collaborate with the care team, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
• Respond to patient condition changes and perform equipment setup and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Recent EP Lab Tech experience (minimum one year)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist in procedures
• Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and visual acuity
• Ability to work under pressure and with diverse personnel
