Travel EP Tech

About the role

Assist in electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device implantations within the EP lab. Responsible for patient preparation, equipment operation, monitoring responses, and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and document findings
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care
• Support physicians during electrophysiology procedures and device implantations
• Administer medications, including sedation
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient responses
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed
• Maintain sterile technique and troubleshoot equipment
• Assist with post-procedure care and monitor for complications
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Skills

• One year’s recent EP Lab Tech experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
• Ability to read instructions, follow protocols, and work under pressure
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist license per state regulations
• PALS or ENPC certifications
