About the Role

Assist electrophysiologists with arrhythmia ablations, device implants, and related procedures. Perform patient assessments, monitor cardiac rhythms, and support sedation and post-procedure care. Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery to ensure understanding and safety. Maintain sterile techniques, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with the care team to develop treatment plans. Respond to patient condition changes, monitor for complications, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor cardiac rhythms
• Assist with arrhythmia ablations, device implants, and related procedures
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Support sedation and post-procedure care to ensure safe recovery
• Provide patient and family education on procedures and recovery
• Maintain a sterile environment and support procedural workflow
• Troubleshoot equipment and collaborate with the care team on treatment plans
• Respond to changes in patient condition and monitor for complications
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Recent RN experience in electrophysiology labs
• Valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and remain active during procedures
• Effective communication and ability to work under pressure
