About the Role
Provide specialized nursing care in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab by assisting with arrhythmia ablations, device implants, and medication treatments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and support procedures
- Administer medications and monitor cardiac rhythms
- Ensure patient safety pre- and post-procedure
- Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery
- Maintain sterile techniques and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans
- Adhere to safety protocols and document findings accurately
- Respond effectively to patient condition changes
- Perform assessments and assist with EP Lab procedures
- Monitor vital signs and manage medications
- Ensure a sterile environment and support patient education and post-care
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards
- Provide immediate post-procedure monitoring and collaborate effectively with team members
Requirements
- At least one year of recent EP Lab RN experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred certifications: PALS, ENPC, RCES, or RCIS

- Technical proficiency in EP Lab procedures and equipment
- Physical ability to handle equipment and patient movement
