About the Role

Provide specialized nursing care in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab by assisting with arrhythmia ablations, device implants, and medication treatments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and support procedures
• Administer medications and monitor cardiac rhythms
• Ensure patient safety pre- and post-procedure
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery
• Maintain sterile techniques and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans
• Adhere to safety protocols and document findings accurately
• Respond effectively to patient condition changes
• Perform assessments and assist with EP Lab procedures
• Monitor vital signs and manage medications
• Ensure a sterile environment and support patient education and post-care
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards
• Provide immediate post-procedure monitoring and collaborate effectively with team members

Requirements

• At least one year of recent EP Lab RN experience
• Valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred certifications: PALS, ENPC, RCES, or RCIS
