About the role
Seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN to support patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive nursing assessments
- Assisting with electrophysiology procedures such as ablations and device implants
- Administering medications and conscious sedation
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms
- Providing post-procedure care
- Collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
- Ensuring safe and effective care while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Minimum one year recent experience as an EP Lab RN
- Valid RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructions
Preferred Certifications
- PALS or ENPC
- RCES/RCIS
- Other relevant licenses
