Role & Responsibilities
- Assist electrophysiologists in treating cardiac conditions, including arrhythmia ablations and device implantations.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and support procedures with sterile technique.
- Educate patients and families, ensure safe post-procedure care, and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop treatment plans, maintain safety protocols, and troubleshoot equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Recent experience as an Electrophysiology Lab RN
- Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move and handle equipment
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
Key Duties
- Conduct assessments, assist in procedures, monitor patient responses, manage medications, and ensure safety and compliance within the EP lab setting.
