About the role

The EP Lab RN provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures, including arrhythmia ablations and device implantations.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and documentation
• Educate patients and families on procedures and care
• Assist with electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device placements
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Support procedural workflows and maintain sterile environments
• Provide post-procedure care and monitor for complications
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Conduct assessments and assist physicians
• Monitor cardiac rhythms
• Support procedural setups
• Ensure post-procedure stability
• Maintain sterile techniques

Requirements

• At least one year of recent EP lab experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS or ENPC certification
• RCES or RCIS certification
