About the role
Emergency Department RN Nights & every other weekend – 36 hours. Free on-site parking.
Unit: 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area. Clinician-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Patient population: all ages. Daily census: 230 visits. EMR: EPIC – ASAP.
Floating and rotating shifts (7 a–7 p, 11 a–11 p, & 7 p–7 a) may be requested; rotation frequency is low. Night position does not rotate.
Responsibilities
- Perform general ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
Requirements
- 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience
- AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- NRP and TNCC certifications strongly preferred

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
