About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Must be highly motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of cardiovascular pathophysiology
- Provide and maintain a therapeutic environment for patients and families
- Utilize equipment and supplies, and nursing resources appropriately
- Foster continuity of patient care and efficient use of resources
- Facilitate consistent, efficient information flow among all staff
- Assure that all documentation and billing requirements are met
- Communicate and educate effectively at all levels
- Demonstrate and foster a high standard of professionalism and collaboration at all times
Requirements
- Current Nursing Registration in Massachusetts
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Advanced knowledge and skills for assessment and evaluation of chronically ill cardiac patients
- Must be physically capable of lifting (linen, supplies, patients, etc)
Work environment
Fast-paced, high-volume interventional laboratory requiring collaboration and teamwork.
Schedule
- Duration: 12 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, days
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
