Job Summary

The Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit (PACU AMBULATORY) Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive perioperative care to patients in the recovery setting. This role involves assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care, demonstrating proficiency in both pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery environments. The position requires flexibility to handle varied shifts and on-call duties, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours each, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state, CPR certification through the American Heart Association, recent experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit or ambulatory surgical recovery, and a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a perioperative setting
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in outpatient surgical or ambulatory care settings; certifications such as Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) are a plus

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
