Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit (PACU AMBULATORY) at a healthcare facility located in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves assessing, monitoring, and providing advanced nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in an ambulatory setting. Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Professional certification related to perioperative or anesthesia nursing is advantageous.

Additional Information

• The RN will be responsible for continuous assessment of patient vital signs, administering medications as ordered, and providing patient education regarding post-procedure care.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
