Travel PACU RN - $2,462 per week

Job Details

Provides post anesthesia nursing care to the patient in the immediate post anesthesia period (phase I) and transitioning them to phase II level of care, the inpatient care setting, or to an intensive care setting for continued care.

Provides a safe transition from a totally anesthetized state to one requiring less acute interventions.

On Call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time. Call - Approximately 1-2 days per weekday depending on weekend on-call. If on-call during the weekend typically only 1 weekday on-call. Weekend call rotation is typically every 4th or 5th weekend.

Job Requirements

• PALS and ACLS required.
• BLS required for clinical positions (AHA or ARC acceptable).
• Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification as required for the position within 30 days of start (for RNs use BON & NURSYS).
• Must have completed a basic dysrhythmia test out within first week of assignment and pass to work in Emergency Department.
• GRH Education Verification must be verified through 3rd party.
• GRH Drug Screen within 30 days of start - 9 panel.
• GRH Skills Checklist completed within 12 months - does not expire.
• Pre-Orientation CBL Acknowledgment required.
• Epic Registration Acknowledgement Form must be signed and uploaded after registration.
• COIVD-19 Vaccine or declination accepted.
• MMR - 2 vaccines or positive titer; booster or declination accepted.
• Fit Test completed prior to start with acceptable masks.
• Hepatitis B - 2 vaccines or positive titer; booster or declination accepted.
• TB Test proof of negative test within past 2 years or documentation if prior positive.
• Health Statement within last 12 months, updated every 4 years.
• Driver's License/State ID current and visible, should not expire while on assignment.
• Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer; booster or declination accepted.
• Tdap valid for 10 years from administered date; declinations accepted.
• GRH Background Check within 30 days of start.
• GRH Iowa Adult and Child Abuse state requirement.
• GRH EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG ran within 30 days of start.
• 2 Professional References required, 1 must be from Supervisor.
• GRH SING ran within 30 days of start.
• GRH Resume or Profile required.
• GRH I9 Attestation required.
• GRH Color Vision proof within 1 year, should not expire while on assignment.
• GRH Contract Employee Data Sheet required.
• GRH NSO ran within 30 days of start.
• GRH OFAC ran within 30 days of start.
• GRH Evergreen Link must be completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

Schedule Information

• Shift: 08:00 - 20:30
• On Call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time.

Unit Specific Information

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specialty.
• Previous EPIC experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.

Additional Details

• Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance.
• Basic dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment and must be passed to work in Emergency Department.
