Project Expedition’s Travel Data Specialist supports a tours-and-activities marketplace connecting travelers, travel advisors, tour operators, excursions, transfers, bookings, content, and partner support. The role focuses on decision-ready analysis, ensuring incomplete information is surfaced before it becomes downstream rework. Quality is measured by the accuracy of analysis and documentation of unresolved items, enabling others to act confidently.
Responsibilities
- Build reports around clearly defined metrics to track the Travel Data Specialist workflow.
- Investigate anomalies instead of masking them, ensuring transparency in travel data execution.
- Document calculations and assumptions to maintain clarity and consistency.
- Translate findings into practical next actions for the team.
- Validate source data before analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Use documentation and data validation tools confidently in travel data execution.
- Support Travel Advisor Partner initiatives while tracking exceptions, owners, and deadlines.
- Document process analysis decisions clearly so teammates can follow the reasoning.
- Exercise sound judgment in insights development, escalating issues when necessary rather than making assumptions.
Position Details
Full-time, associate-level role. 100% remote within the United States.
Pay
Base salary: $55,000–$78,000 per year.
