About the role

The Travel Consultant operates within cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour planning, handling destination research, booking coordination, supplier management, sales support, and traveler service workflows. The role focuses on travel planning and service, ensuring decisions align with the specific demands of these specialized travel sectors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel planning with supplier coordination, ensuring each checkpoint includes a visible source, owner, status, and next action within cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour workflows.
• Review and maintain role documentation with status tracking for travel-focused consultative work, ensuring traceability and clarity in the operating context.
• Document reservation systems with deadline management, keeping confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions visibly separate.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting for all travel planning activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile quality control with workflow management, surfacing repeated errors before they result in downstream rework.
• Apply data accuracy while managing evidence and deadlines in a travel-focused consultative workflow.
• Document process compliance and issue escalation decisions, ensuring reasoning remains clear and traceable.
• Use judgment for follow-up actions, especially when travel planning depends on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
• Ensure remote completion of tasks by maintaining secure, traceable, and up-to-date reporting, workflow context, and status tracking for the next authorized teammate.

Qualifications

• Confident use of the Travel Experts UK Workflow Context and Travel Planning tools in support of cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour workflows.
• Ability to apply strong travel-focused consultative skills, ensuring work remains usable under the specific demands of the role.
• Commitment to maintaining traceable, owner-assigned unresolved items and surfacing errors proactively.

Schedule

Full-time, 100% remote within the United States.

Pay

Base salary: $42,000–$65,000 per year.
