About the role
The Travel Consultant at Billingsley Travel Agency will take ownership of traveler-fit planning within family and group leisure travel, cruises, all-inclusive trips, theme parks, sports travel, weddings, and honeymoons. The role focuses on consultative planning to surface incomplete information before it becomes downstream rework.
The role is working well when traveler-fit planning becomes more reliable and repeated failure points are surfaced before they affect customers, partners, or teammates.
Working Strengths
- Use Travel Consultant Documentation and Itinerary Planning confidently.
- Apply Supplier Coordination without losing track of exceptions, owners, or deadlines.
- Document Follow-Up decisions clearly so another teammate can follow the reasoning.
- Use sound judgment around Group Travel Support, especially when escalation is required instead of assumption.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Travel Consultant workflow by helping the team document the reasoning behind important trip choices.
- Review the Travel Consultant workflow by helping the team clarify traveler priorities before recommending options.
- Maintain the Travel Consultant workflow by helping the team research destinations and products against stated needs.
- Track the Travel Consultant workflow by helping the team compare meaningful tradeoffs without presenting pending details as final.
- Own the Travel Consultant workflow by helping the team coordinate supplier or booking follow-up.
