Travel assignment in Deer Lodge, MT starting 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks.
About the role
Provide occupational therapy services in an acute care, inpatient environment under the supervision of a licensed OT.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient evaluation, plan development, goal setting, and progress documentation.
- Implement prescribed interventions including therapeutic activities, activities of daily living training, range of motion, strength and endurance activities, balance and coordination activities, and modality use as directed.
- Monitor patient response, adjust activities as appropriate, and document progress and outcomes per regulatory and facility guidelines.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (OT, nursing, PT, and other services) to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and patient privacy during all treatments and activities.
Requirements
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification with active license or eligibility for licensure in Montana.
- Graduation from an accredited OTA program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Prior experience in an acute care or inpatient environment preferred (1 year is a common expectation).
- Ability to work the listed shift (Days) in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Pay
Weekly pay ranges from $2,104 to $2,140, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Schedule
Shift: Days. Contract duration: 13 weeks.
