About the Role
A travel assignment for a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN to provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients prior to procedures and assist with positioning and preparation
- Support physicians during interventions such as catheter placement, stent deployment, and structural heart device placement
- Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing abnormal rhythms and responses
- Manage post-procedure recovery, including patient monitoring and equipment troubleshooting
- Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and technical skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS or ENPC certifications
- RCIS certification
