About the Role
Provide specialized cardiac care during catheterization and interventional procedures. Assist with patient preparation, procedure execution, and post-procedure recovery. Collaborate closely with cardiologists and lab teams while maintaining strict safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients before, during, and after procedures
- Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment
- Assist with device placement and interventional procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process
- Support post-procedure care and recovery
- Troubleshoot and maintain lab equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families
- Maintain professionalism and teamwork in a high-pressure environment
Requirements
- One year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- PALS or ENPC certifications (preferred)
- RCIS certification (preferred)
