Role & Responsibilities
- Provides specialized cardiac care for patients undergoing catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepares patients, assists during interventions, monitors recovery, and supports post-procedure care
- Works closely with cardiologists and cath lab teams, operating hemodynamic equipment, assisting with device placements, and ensuring patient safety
- Maintains equipment, adheres to safety protocols, and communicates effectively with team members, patients, and families
- Performs assessments, assists with procedures, manages equipment, and ensures regulatory compliance
Qualifications & Skills
- One year recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move and assist with equipment and patients
- Proficiency in reading instructions, operating equipment, and maintaining professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly
