Travel Cath Lab RN

About the role

Provides specialized cardiac catheterization care, assisting with procedures, monitoring patient recovery, and collaborating with cardiologists and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to procedures, review medical histories, and position patients correctly
• Assist during interventions such as catheter, wire, balloon, stent, and device placements
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognize rhythm and waveform changes
• Support post-procedure recovery, ensuring patient stability and safety
• Maintain cath lab equipment, ensure safety protocols, and communicate effectively with team and patients

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and technical skills
• Physical ability to move and handle equipment, and mental resilience to work under pressure
