Travel Cath Lab RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab RN to provide specialized cardiac care in a clinical setting. The role involves preparing patients for procedures, assisting during interventions such as catheterizations, and monitoring post-procedure recovery. The RN collaborates with cardiologists and the cath lab team, operates hemodynamic equipment, manages patient assessments, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments before, during, and after cardiac procedures
• Assist with catheter placements and other interventional procedures
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms using hemodynamic equipment
• Support post-procedure recovery and patient stabilization
• Troubleshoot and maintain cath lab equipment
• Maintain safety protocols and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• At least one year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Qualifications (Preferred)

• PALS or ENPC certifications
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
