Travel Cath Lab RN

About the role

Provide specialized care for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, including patient assessment, assistance during interventions, equipment operation, and post-procedure monitoring. Collaborate with cardiologists and team members to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment, communicate effectively, and support patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Operate hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Manage arterial and venous sheaths
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition
• Support patient recovery and education
• Ensure equipment functionality and troubleshoot issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication

Requirements

• One year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical thinking and strong communication skills
• Physical strength and technical proficiency
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal and sensory skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS certification
• ENPC certification
• RCIS certification
