Travel Cath Lab/EP Technologist - $3,190 per week
About the role
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Danbury, Connecticut. This role supports high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting, covering EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart labs.
Responsibilities
- Scrub EP procedures including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred).
- Scrub cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy) and support mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing).
- Support neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions.
- Assist with high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases.
- Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as required by department needs.
- Use Kronos for timekeeping.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab experience.
- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification through CCI.
- State of CT Radiographer license required if applicable, in conjunction with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification.
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only).
- Expertise in radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices.
- Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Siemens equipment for licensed radiologic technologists.
- RCIS certification through CCI.
- Proficiency in structural heart procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman.
- Skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging technologies including ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems.
Schedule
- 3x12 hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with variable start times between 6:00 AM-8:00 PM).
- 36 hours per week.
- Start Date: September 14, 2026.
- Duration: 13 weeks.
