Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting performing a broad range of invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, interventional radiology, and neuro intervention procedures
- Procedures include left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, EP ablations, cardiac mapping, pacemaker and AICD insertion, LAA closure, carotid stenting, TIPS, embolization, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and more
- Equipment includes Philips single-plane/bi-plane, Impella, IABP, Inari, Pembra, Pounce, US CSI Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS (Boston Scientific, Philips), Carto Abbott, and X-Per
- Epic EMR experience required
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Call required every 4th day and one weekend per month
Weekend work required
Holiday coverage required for 2 major and 1 minor holidays
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, IR, neuro intervention, pacemakers, and EKG
- Required certifications: ARRT(R) or RCIS, BLS, and Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license — temporary LSRT accepted (takes 3–5 days to issue once fee is paid and proof of ARRT is received)
- ACLS and ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with Philips single-plane/bi-plane imaging systems and advanced cardiac devices (Impella, IABP, IVUS, Rotoblade, Carto Abbott, etc.)

Additional Information
- Perform a full range of cardiac cath, EP, structural heart, IR, and neuro intervention procedures including ablations, device implants, peripheral and venous access, coil embolization, and rotablator procedures
- Hospital provides scrubs
Orientation modules are completed prior to start date and range from 2–4 hours for allied health positions - Former permanent employees of any facility within the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
