Travel Cardiovascular Technologist Echo Tech Job

This travel assignment focuses on echocardiography in a critical access hospital setting.

About the role

13-week contract with guaranteed 24 hours per week. Shift is 24-hour days, starting 08/31/2026.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography studies for diagnostic purposes, including standard 2D, Doppler, and other echo techniques as appropriate
• Ensure high-quality imaging by proper patient positioning, protocol adherence, and appropriate equipment settings
• Maintain smooth patient flow in the echo service line and coordinate with the treating cardiology team to support timely diagnoses
• Document findings clearly and promptly, assist with preliminary interpretations as required, and participate in QA/QI activities
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance standards; report any equipment or process issues to leadership

Requirements

• Echo experience with hands-on echocardiography procedures
• ARDMS or NBE certification required
• Current credentials in echocardiography per professional standards
• Ability to work a 24-hour day shift in a travel assignment
• Willingness to work in a rural, critical access hospital setting for 13 weeks

Pay

Weekly pay: $1,559–$1,678 for 24 guaranteed hours.
