Travel Cardiovascular Technologist Echo Tech Job

Travel assignment as a Cardiovascular Technologist – Echo Tech supporting pediatric echocardiography in Boston, MA. This is a temporary position through Healthforce Healthcare LLC, starting 09/08/2026 for approximately 22 weeks.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Guaranteed 32 hours per week

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,144–$2,309

About the role

• Work in a hospital-based outpatient pediatric imaging department
• Occasional coverage of inpatient units, the ED, and NICU as needed
• EMR environment: EPIC Hyperspace featuring Cadence Scheduling

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiography studies, including transthoracic echocardiograms and fetal echocardiography when applicable, ensuring high-quality image acquisition
• Work independently in the outpatient pediatric imaging department and provide coverage for inpatient, ED, and NICU as needed
• Manage data capture and upload related data (Holter and blood pressure device results) into the patient’s chart
• Ensure timely documentation in EPIC Hyperspace Cadence Scheduling
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize images, and communicate findings to the cardiology team
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and privacy standards
• Maintain equipment and verify calibration and cleaning per policy

Requirements

• Active ARDMS RDCS-PE certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2+ years of pediatric echocardiography/sonography experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced pediatric imaging setting
• Experience with pediatric echocardiography and comfort with EPIC Hyperspace Cadence Scheduling
• Preferred: fetal echocardiography experience
