Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech) — Seaside, Oregon | Travel - temporary assignment | Start: 08/17/2026 | Duration: Weeks | Weekly pay: $2,046–$2,131 per week | Guaranteed hours: none | Shift: 5x8 Days (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM). Critical access hospital setting with no required call or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive adult echocardiography (2D/3D) and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) as indicated
  • Conduct stress echo studies (treadmill and pharmacologic), bubble studies, and color Doppler imaging
  • Utilize contrast agents when appropriate and proficiently start IVs for contrast studies
  • Maintain high-quality imaging and accurate documentation in the electronic charting system
  • Collaborate with interpreting physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and timely results

Requirements

  • Certifications: ARDMS (Echo) and CCI RCS; BLS
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in the Echo/Vascular field (1st-time travel techs may be considered)
  • Imaging proficiency: 2D/3D echo, TEE, stress echo, contrast imaging; familiarity with major vendors/PACS
  • Charting: Epic experience required
  • References: Two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start
  • Additional: Must have a vehicle for the assignment; ability to work in a critical access hospital setting

Scheduling and Policies

  • Scheduling and policies: RTO requests allowed (up to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days auto-approved); holiday coverage required for 3 of 5 holidays listed; pre-start training modules required

Benefits and Support

  • Assignment-specific travel and recruitment support throughout the assignment
  • Pre-start training modules (approximately 16 hours on average); additional hours (>20) require supervisor approval
  • Vehicle required for the assignment and parking information provided
  • Formal holiday coverage commitment: 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
  • Ongoing guidance and coordination with the account team to facilitate credentialing and readiness
