Travel Agent

This role operates within a Philippine-based travel agency and tour operator specializing in domestic and international packages, group and corporate/incentive travel, ticketing, hotels, transfers, and visa assistance. The Travel Agent’s distinct focus is on meticulous travel planning and service delivery, ensuring clear separation between applicant screening and customer-facing operations like payments and visa services—without guaranteeing visa outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel planning and service delivery with supplier partners, maintaining visible records of source, owner, status, and next actions for every checkpoint.
• Review and update role-specific documentation (e.g., Travbest) with real-time status tracking to ensure traceability in a travel-focused, case-handling workflow.
• Manage reservation systems with strict deadline adherence, documenting all actions to maintain clarity and accountability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting to support secure, traceable workflows for the next authorized team member.
• Reconcile quality control with workflow management, surfacing unresolved items and repeated errors before they lead to downstream rework.
• Apply judgment in follow-ups, distinguishing confirmed facts from pending dependencies or exceptions to avoid assumptions.
• Escalate issues and document process compliance decisions, ensuring reasoning is clear and aligned with operational priorities.

• Proficiency in using Travbest Workflow Context and travel planning tools within the operational environment of a Philippine travel agency.
• Strong data accuracy skills, with the ability to track evidence and deadlines without compromise.
• Commitment to process compliance and issue escalation, leaving a clear audit trail for decision-making.
• Ability to maintain separation between confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions in all travel-related tasks.
• Full-time availability, with a focus on remote work within the United States.

Pay

Base salary: $42,000–$65,000 per year.
