Travel Agent

About the role

Fabventure Travel is seeking a Travel Agent for hands-on work centered on traveler-fit planning and the day-to-day demands of Europe, Mediterranean and Caribbean cruises, all-inclusive vacations, honeymoons, family trips, and groups. The role focuses on travel case handling within Europe travel support, ensuring incomplete information is addressed before it leads to downstream rework.

Responsibilities

• Apply trip research and change management confidently in travel case handling within Europe travel support.
• Handle travel cases without losing track of exceptions, owners, or deadlines tied to Europe travel support.
• Document decisions in reservation systems clearly so teammates can follow the reasoning behind travel case handling.
• Use sound judgment around travel documentation, escalating issues when necessary instead of making assumptions.
• Review, maintain, track, own, and coordinate the Travel Agent workflow by:
  • Clarifying traveler priorities before recommending options.
  • Researching destinations and products against stated needs.
  • Comparing meaningful tradeoffs without presenting pending details as final.
  • Coordinating supplier or booking follow-up.
  • Documenting the reasoning behind important trip choices.
• Ensure traveler-fit planning is accurate, secure, traceable, and ready for the next authorized teammate.

Requirements

• Quality work is visible when traveler-fit planning is accurate enough for others to act on, and unresolved items are documented rather than guessed.
• Remote execution is complete only when travel case handling within Europe travel support meets the standards of accuracy, security, traceability, and readiness.

Pay

Base salary: $42,000–$62,000 per year.

Schedule

Full-time, 100% remote within the United States. Entry-level position.
