Field-based position requiring an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue, case coverage, and market share objectives for Stryker Trauma products.
- Provide responsive clinical and technical support during trauma and orthopedic procedures, including urgent cases that occur during nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Build and maintain relationships with orthopedic surgeons, operating room staff, emergency department personnel, and healthcare decision-makers within assigned accounts.
- Manage multiple competing priorities across scheduled cases, emergency procedures, inventory requirements, and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Conduct product evaluations, demonstrations, and educational programs to support customer adoption and appropriate product utilization.
- Maintain inventory, instrument sets, and consignment assets to ensure product availability and operational readiness for case support.
- Analyze account activity, competitive trends, and territory performance data to identify growth opportunities and support business objectives.
- Document sales activities, customer interactions, inventory transactions, and compliance requirements in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR minimum 4 years of experience in sales, clinical healthcare, or a combination of both.
- Ability to participate in an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an operating room, procedural healthcare environment, medical device sales role, or clinical support role.
- Experience providing intraoperative clinical support during surgical procedures.
- Experience managing surgical inventory, consignment assets, or instrument sets.
Pay
This role is 100% commission and is eligible for bonuses and benefits.
Schedule
30% travel required.
