Trauma Sales Representative
About the Role
As a Trauma Sales Representative, you work with a high degree of intensity and commitment to sell Stryker Trauma products that meet our customers’ needs. You are responsible for becoming the resident trauma expert as you work with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals. You thrive in high-pressure environments, organizing materials and solutions quickly during operating or emergency room consultations. Your deep knowledge of both Stryker products and competitors’ offerings builds credibility with surgeons, who rely on you for advice and training on life-saving tools.
Responsibilities
- Sell Stryker Trauma products to meet customer needs in high-intensity environments.
- Serve as the resident trauma expert for surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- Provide rapid, organized solutions during operating or emergency room consultations.
- Manage and maintain inventory meticulously to ensure product availability.
- Offer advice and training on products and tools used in life-saving procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with surgeons and hospitals.
- Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours as required.
- Adhere to compliance standards, including AdvaMed principles, privacy, confidentiality, and applicable laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of both).
- 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sales principles, including marketing strategy, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
- Proficiency in current office technologies (e.g., MS Office suite, databases).
- Experience building and maintaining relationships, particularly with surgeons and hospitals.
- Comfort working in emergency and operating room environments.

Pay
This role is 100% commission-based with eligibility for bonuses and benefits.
Depending on customer requirements, employees and new hires in sales and field roles that require access to customer accounts may be required to obtain various vaccinations as an essential function of their role.
