About the role
We offer a competitive starting salary of $52k during training. After training, Sales Reps earn uncapped commissions on every order, not just one‑time deals, thanks to territories with active, loyal customers placing weekly orders that create a steady stream of income from day one.
This is a field‑based sales role covering the Nashville/Murfreesboro territory. You will visit customers around 80% of the time, with mileage reimbursement and a car allowance provided through the CarData program, plus a monthly trip to Louisville, KY for sales meetings or other business needs. The position purpose is to drive growth by overseeing existing independent convenience‑store customers, prospecting new accounts, educating clients on convenience and foodservice programs, and building strong business relationships that enhance profitability store by store.
Responsibilities
- Grow sales and profit margins through execution on sales strategy and territory management, planning a sales approach customized with individual customers.
- Prospecting and onboarding of new customer accounts, including cold-calling to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Educate the customer on convenience and foodservice programs, new product promotions, marketing policies, service, delivery specifics, and industry activities.
- Review daily/weekly/monthly reports with the store manager and assist with any opportunities that may arise.
- Minimizes accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and follows-up on any problems.
