Transporter

Responsibilities

• Perform patient transports and patient transfers using appropriate equipment while adhering to safe patient handling policies and procedures.
• Pick up and deliver specimens, patient care items, and visitors between patient care units and other ancillary departments.

Qualifications

Required:

• Certification: American Heart Association BLS‑CPR

Preferred:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience: 6 months of patient care and/or customer service

Skills

• Basic computer knowledge

Pay

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 – $18.89 per hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position.
