Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
• Performs darkroom duties, orders supplies, stocks, and assists with dressing patients.
• Handles front office duties, including answering telephones, greeting patients, and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
• Performs clerical duties such as filing patient reports and retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiology test terminology and maintains professional telephone etiquette.
• Provides clerical support using telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System), and runs errands throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Must have BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain it throughout employment.
• Transportation experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required for all new hires starting April 2014.
