About the Role

Easterseals MORC is looking for a Transporter to help make a difference. We seek individuals who are passionate about serving others and want to become part of a team that values care, dedication, and impact.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals in a welcoming, hopeful, and empathetic manner regardless of disability or phase of recovery.
• Coordinate transportation services for individuals served.
• Travel extensively to various locations throughout Michigan to provide transportation services.
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure appropriate maintenance of Easterseals vehicles within assigned program.
• Prepare vehicle inspection reports and report to supervision as required.
• Transport interdepartmental mail to various Easterseals locations.
• Perform all transportation services in accordance with applicable Easterseals Safety & Health policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of principles of trauma-informed care.
• Support and assist consumers with trauma-related issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License.
