About the Role
We are looking for a driven professional leader with exceptional communication and computer skills. Flexibility to work any shift is required. Strong math skills and SAP knowledge are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, and product loss and damage.
- Ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully.
- Assist in developing the daily operating plan, including equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed customer delivery needs.
- Promptly solve problems to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees such as quality and safety.
- Partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience, or
- High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience.
