Transportation Supervisor

About the role

Responsible for overseeing transportation operations within a facility, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation activities including loading, unloading, and moving of materials and equipment.
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained in accordance with company standards and regulations.
• Manage transportation schedules to meet production needs while minimizing costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve transportation-related issues and improve efficiency.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Train new employees on transportation procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation management or logistics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with fleet management systems.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.

Pay

$70,000 - $80,000 annually based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
