Transportation Specialist, Global Logistics, Cross Border Transportation Execution

About the role

The Amazon Transportation Services (GL) XBE team is focused on learning, innovating, and maintaining a customer-centric approach. We continuously evaluate our tools and processes to drive cargo integrity within transportation and logistics. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, drive meaningful improvements, and contribute to Amazon's global logistics network.

Responsibilities

  • Audit claims with precision, cross-referencing carrier-submitted charges against contracts, shipment records, and delivery documentation to approve or deny claims based on evidence.
  • Analyze trends across claim cycles to identify patterns such as carrier over-billing or lane-specific spikes, and translate those findings into actionable reporting for leadership.
  • Collaborate with teammates during stand-ups, investigate and resolve inbound process disruptions, pull data sets to support team workflows, and flex into ad hoc projects as priorities shift.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Are 18 years of age or older

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications: 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience, high school or equivalent diploma, can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays, are 18 years of age or older
  • Preferred Qualifications: Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to move seamlessly between independent deep dives and cross-functional collaboration.

Pay

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

USA, AZ, Tempe - 21.00 - 29.00 USD hourly
