About the role
Drive the future of safe, efficient, and innovative mobility in our community. As the Transportation Network Manager, you will lead the City’s traffic engineering and transportation planning efforts, overseeing everything from MUTCD compliance and traffic signal operations to multi-modal planning and intelligent transportation systems. This role is central to advancing road safety, enhancing pedestrian and multimodal connectivity, and guiding the City’s long-range transportation vision through the Safety Action Plan and Transportation Master Plan.
Responsibilities
- Lead traffic engineering and transportation planning efforts
- Oversight of MUTCD compliance and traffic signal operations
- Multi-modal planning and intelligent transportation systems management
- Advancing road safety and enhancing pedestrian and multimodal connectivity
- Guiding the City’s long-range transportation vision through the Safety Action Plan and Transportation Master Plan
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited institution
- Must be registered as a Professional Engineer or Professional Traffic Operations Engineer in the State of Colorado, or have the ability to obtain license within six months of hire
- Five (5) years of progressive engineering experience in transportation planning and engineering required
- Technical knowledge of traffic operations, traffic control, transportation networks, and civil engineering required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

- $111,928.12 - $124,364.58 annually
