Transportation Analyst

About the role

As a Transportation Analyst, you will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and The Hitch to provide timely consulting on freight cost estimates. This role supports freight analysis across multiple business areas, leads transportation-related initiatives, and serves as a backup administrator for the E2open Transportation Management System. You will develop freight reports and analysis on cost, carrier performance, systems optimization, and dedicated fleets.

This is a hybrid position based at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with a schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, The Hitch, and PLS to provide freight estimates and proactive analysis.
• Represent Transportation as a process owner and/or performer in customer onboarding and process developments/enhancements.
• Understand carrier rates, the transportation industry, and Schreiber customer pricing processes.
• Create a ship-to database to assist with costing for specific regions and locations.
• Provide support within the E2open Transportation Management System.
• Offer load planning support to the Transportation department as needed.
• Support the team in data collection and analysis for procurement events and business planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Transportation, Finance, Customer Service, or Sales.
• Solid understanding of the E2open Transportation Management System.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, particularly in freight pricing and costing.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills, tenacity, and ability to drive change across the organization.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
