About the role
Provides evaluation, treatment, and management of acute and chronic phases of illness in patients at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Management includes assessment of physical symptoms, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. Provides continued care throughout the patient's medical journey.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, master’s degree in Nursing
- Physician Assistant: PA license, NCCPA certification, bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or completion of a recognized certificate program, ACLS certification
Qualifications
- Master’s or higher-level degree in Nursing for Nurse Practitioner
- Bachelor’s or higher-level degree in Physician Assistant Studies or completion of a recognized certificate program for Physician Assistant
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by HCFA
- Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission for Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) or other national certifying body recognized by the New York State Education Department
- Two (2) years of full-time progressively responsible Advanced Practice Provider experience in a service line at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or at a cancer care or acute care facility recognized as comparable by Roswell Park
- Obtain certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by HCFA within nine (9) months of appointment
- Obtain and maintain certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of appointment

Pay
Total combined starting rate for Advanced Practice Provider I (Grade 28): $121,038 annually
Total combined starting salary for Advanced Practice Provider II (Grade 30): $133,124 annually
