About the role
The primary responsibility of the Program Coordinator is the overall administration of the DDS Day program, ensuring program compliance with all DDS and other applicable rules and regulations. The role involves overseeing the daily work of assigned staff to meet individual plans for each person served at the campus, developing meaningful opportunities for employment and life-enriching activities, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage program operations, including scheduling and transportation assignments.
- Communicate with residential supervisors, DDS case management, and parents/guardians.
- Schedule and attend mandatory DDS meetings in compliance with state/residential guidelines.
- Develop and maintain activities and employment opportunities for individuals serviced.
- Track, gather, and prepare data necessary for individual reports.
- Facilitate the completion of all documentation related to individuals serviced, ensuring it is up-to-date and filed in a timely manner.
- Ensure all staff are proficient in individual documentation through in-service training.
- Track and document petty cash expenditures.
- Prepare individual payroll batches on a weekly basis.
- Work closely with program staff from diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds to foster teamwork and innovation.
- Seek appropriate supervision and guidance when needed; meet with Supervisor weekly.
- Attend meetings and events as directed.
- Respond to crises and emergencies with a calm and reasoned approach as necessary or directed by Supervisor or management.
- Review program rules and policies as necessary.
- Ensure in-services are scheduled and completed efficiently.
- Abide by all CPM Personnel Policies and Procedures.
- Use basic computer technology and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or necessitated by program needs.
- Work with staff to ensure the maintenance of offices, program materials, and vehicles weekly.
- Report all serious incidents to the Program Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field experience.
- Knowledge of DDS systems.
- Ability to interact with people with intellectual disabilities.
- Knowledge of basic computer technology and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Schedule
Full Time: Sunday – Thursday, 12pm–8pm
