About the Role

The Agricultural Experiment Station at New Mexico State University is seeking a Program Coordinator V to support the New Mexico Chile Association Center. This position coordinates and manages program operations, fosters relationships with industry partners and stakeholders, oversees administrative and fiscal activities, and supports initiatives that advance and promote New Mexico’s chile industry.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Board of Directors manager to oversee operations and administration of the board.
  • Provide leadership and support in developing and implementing strategic goals and objectives for the NM Chile Association program.
  • Ensure development and attainment of goals while maintaining management responsibility.
  • Prepare and monitor the budget to ensure the organization operates within financial guidelines.
  • Maintain records between support departments within the organization.
  • Establish working relationships and cooperative arrangements with other groups and organizations.
  • Represent and advocate for the organization’s point of view.
  • Oversee the design, marketing, and promotion of products and services.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree + 7 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Special certification or licensure (if applicable).

Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment with no or very limited physical effort required. Lifting involves handling average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking. No or very limited exposure to physical risk.

Schedule

Standard (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM). Full-time equivalency: 0.80 (part-time).
