Transition Service Coordinator

About the role

Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure is a group of co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females' youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to offer comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a caseload of approximately 14-24 clients consisting of DOC clients and ROP Aftercare students.
• Ensure program participation for clients through transportation.
• Document all contacts and submit weekly to the Transitional Services Manager.
• Identify and coordinate contacts in the community for tracking and monitoring progress.
• Coordinate activities with other program staff and identify additional client contacts and employment opportunities.

Requirements

• BA/BS in the field preferred.
• At least one year of experience working with at-risk juveniles and their families or other related experience.
• Must meet eligibility requirements to be an ROP driver.
• Must have a current State Driver's License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of overall company operations and policies and procedures.
• Ability to pass a critical background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
