Transcon Inbound Agent

Job Description

Create Import files using knowledge of Transcon DDL workflow and other tools.

• Request appointments for shipments requiring one.
• Update appointments once confirmed.
• Update Expected Delivery dates for shipments without appointments based on arrival.
• Dispatch shipments timely based on arrival and appointment.
• Monitor and manage GPS loads and truck monitoring.
• Ensure all paperwork, seals, and GPS units are assigned before GPS shipments are picked up.
• Verify and fill out driver check-ins correctly.
• Stage and load HAWB’s and shipments onto the correct trucks.
• Adhere to DLSOPS procedures for customers.
• Escalate issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Chicagoland area.
• Six months to one year related experience in Domestic operations.
• Operations/Industry Knowledge preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven history of providing exceptional customer service.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
• Professional attitude.
• Great attitude and background based on compliments from customers and coworkers.
• Strong MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

• The position pays $20.00-$28.00 per hour based on education and experience.
