Training Specialist

Essential Functions

• Leads activities related to planning, implementation and ongoing maintenance of training software and training materials.
• Delivers and deploys policies and procedures related to training.
• Maintains oversight of training schedules to keep the facility compliant.
• Assesses the effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments/performance and develops actions to address performance gaps.
• Works with managers to determine training plan requirements.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of the existing training materials and operating procedures.
• Consolidates feedback to develop a methodology to prioritize, track and coordinate resources required to update and implement the procedures and training materials.
• Communicates/collaborates with different departments to create effective content.
• Develops, standardizes and streamlines documents for digital input, retention and retrieval.
• Supports the sales team with New Business Integration (NBI) processes and implementation Data Control content integration.
• Create simple training instructions on where and how to complete tasks, forms, processes.
• Identifies customers' needs and recommends training new topics based on customer feedback and COPQ.
• Edit and proofread written pieces before publication and distribution.
• Tracks and assists with updating training as needed for approval and improvement efforts.
• Supports and facilitates root cause training with all cross-function teams.
• Facilitates training as needed.

Experience Required

• 1+ years of experience in Training
• PREFERRED: 1+ year of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing

Education Required

• High School or better
