Training Specialist
Position Overview
The Training Specialist is an onsite role responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective training programs that support employee development and ensure compliance with site requirements. This role will create and deliver training content, and partner with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with organizational standards. The Training Specialist will also evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve training processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Corporate Training, or a related field with 5–8 years of relevant experience;
- Master’s degree in education with 3–5 years of relevant experience;
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including administration and reporting, preferably SuccessFactors;
- Experience developing instructional materials using e-learning;
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies;
- Able to leverage AI-driven tools to create or enhance training content;
- Strong data and record-keeping skills to manage training completion, certifications, and audit requirements;
- Knowledge of regulatory or compliance training requirements relevant to the nuclear and defense industries;
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and perform annual self-assessments of the training program;
- Certified to teach OSHA and/or TOSHA classes;
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills for instructor-led training;
- Change management experience;
- Experience with radiological safety training program requirements preferred.

Pay
The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $76,000 and $119,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
