Training & Safety Compliance Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain Training Program (add and remove personnel, maintain and update records/files).
• Assess requirements for new training courses that may be needed or required.
• Create customized courses as required.
• Ensure assigned training in MyFAA is being completed as required.
• Ensure onboarding training and in-person classes are given in a timely fashion and documented.
• Perform safety inspections (OSHA compliance, fire station checks, personal protection equipment (PPE), etc.).
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals used in house.
• Manage emergency procedures, and coordinate with the local fire department when required.
• Schedule respirator fit test and eye exams as needed.
• Manage Safety Management System (SMS)
• Other duties that may be delegated or assigned.

Requirements and Skills

• Knowledge of OSHA Requirements
• Physical Requirements: Sit for approximately 5-6 hours in a day, Stand for approximately 1-2 hours, May have to lift up to 20lbs
• Position is in office environment
• The ability to work alone with minimal supervision. To complete tasks in an orderly manner.
• Excellent communication skills.
