Training & Compliance Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily yard inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Conduct regular field visits to observe and assess compliance with safety and quality standards across Traffic Control, Pavement Marking, and Sign Installation operations.
  • Present Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, lead facility tours, facilitate hands-on training, and coordinate enrollment for TMA, Forklift, and Propane training with Operations Managers.
  • Administer Flagger certification tests and submit required documentation.
  • Deliver ongoing training or troubleshooting support for various RS applications.
  • Maintain and manage employee records in Motive, including adding/removing users as needed.
  • Technical Training Delivery: Traffic Control, Pavement Marking, and Sign Installation training.
  • Maintain current certifications and complete all RoadSafe-required training.
  • Represent the branch at local industry association meetings.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–5 years of experience in training, compliance, quality control, or field operations—preferably in highway safety, traffic control, or construction.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain TCS (Traffic Control Supervisor) Certification and Forklift Trainer Certification.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Motive, EHS systems, Lee Trans, and Microsoft Office Suite.
