Key Responsibilities
- Conducting performance-based Reactor Operator (RO)/Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training in accordance with systematic training models.
- Ensuring training content stays current with industry standards, regulatory updates, and plant modifications.
- Preparing and evaluating trainee examinations, providing counseling, and developing individualized training plans.
- S supporting fleet and plant initiatives, participating in audits, and maintaining training records.
- Achieving and maintaining necessary certifications such as Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) within specified timeframes.
- Performing additional duties including emergency response, outage support, and departmental coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- For Senior Ops Instructor: 6 years of related power plant or industrial experience, or an engineering degree with relevant nuclear background, or current/former licensed Reactor Operator/SRO.
- For Ops Instructor: High school diploma/GED with 6 years of experience, or an associate's/bachelor's degree with related experience.
- Knowledge of nuclear operations, training standards, and regulatory requirements.
- PREFERRED: Experience in commercial nuclear training and systematic approach to training (SAT).

- Strong evaluation, counseling, and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to support audits and stay current with industry developments.
